Life Saving Victoria's (LSV) biggest event, the Victorian Lifesaving Championships, will be heading back to Lakes Entrance in 2011.

Traditionally, the championships consists of a Junior Championships and a Senior Championships, for the first time both will be combined under the one banner and run as the one event, making it the biggest Victorian lifesaving event to date.

With the success of the 2010 Victorian Lifesaving Championships, combining Senior and Junior Championships, SLS Lakes Entrance will be the host for the second year in a row. These Championships have become the pinnacle of lifesaving in Victoria. The combined attendance from both the senior and junior championships, saw over 2,000 competitors and over 6,000 spectators come to the event from over 32 different clubs from across the state.
